About
Located in the medieval center, the church is dedicated to St. Gregory, in memory of the bishop St. Gregory of Armenia, who evangelized the Tallardians in the first century AD. It has been a listed monument since 1931.
It was built between 1640 (date above the entrance door) and 1644 (date on the keystone in the choir). The author of the plans was a Jesuit professor in Embrun, the Reverend Père Léoutaud. The contractor was a Tallardian, Michel Reyberet, "coppeur de pierre, masson et architecte".
