A lithium mine could be built in France. Inspired by this real-life event, Frédéric Ferrer imagines a theatrical debate at the heart of living issues.

A theater artist and geographer, Frédéric Ferrer has long been interested in the world's disruptions, particularly climate change. So when the very first lithium mining project emerged in the Allier region of France, it was bound to pique his interest. Why open a mine in France today? Is it really better to switch from petrol to electricity, and thus from the exploitation of hydrocarbons to that of minerals? Can we limit the environmental impact of such a project?
