About
As a national stage, each year the theater hosts some thirty shows (theater, dance, music, comedy, etc.) for around one hundred performances.
In proposing the name "La Passerelle" when the theater was created in 1988, Pierre-André Reiso, the director at the time, wanted to emphasize the fragile and necessary link between artists and audiences: the Passerelle is not as solid as a bridge, but a sometimes uncertain path that requires the courage to take. It is also a symbol of the crossroads and circulations between the different artistic disciplines on offer.
