About
A brilliantly talented young director combines the myth of Antigone with a contemporary destiny. A choral and musical fresco that takes us by storm.
One shouts, the other remains silent. But in the end, aren't they kindred spirits? In this creation, Tamara Al Saadi composes her own version of the Antigone myth, and interweaves it with the story of Eden, a young girl placed in care by the Aide Sociale à l'Enfance. The one who keeps silent, but thinks no less, is Antigone, the daughter of Oedipus. To give her brother Polynices a burial, she is ready to defy the prohibitions laid down by her uncle, the new king, Creon. Eden, faced with the arbitrary brutality of institutions, is the one who screams her rage at the world.
