Sophie is a refuge keeper, Laurette a circus performer and director, and Aurelia a mountain guide. This documentary follows their daily lives during a summer in the Écrins massif: Sophie manages the Sélé refuge, Laurette juggles creation and performance, and Aurelia guides her clients to the summit. All three are asserting themselves as women in a world that is still largely male-dominated.
