About
Recent excavations at Mons Seleucus have uncovered a Gallo-Roman sanctuary. But what is a sanctuary?
This workshop answers this question by teaching children how places of worship were built, and the differences between purely Roman religious buildings and those in Gaul, inherited from Celtic tradition. The activity ends with a model of a fanum, a typical temple in Roman Gaul!
