The Musée muséum départemental is the only museum in the Hautes-Alpes to be awarded the Musée de France label. Opened to the public in 1910, it is located in the heart of Gap's Parc de la Pépinière. Natural history, fine arts, decorative arts, archaeology, ethnology and contemporary creations: the museum's rich and varied collections can be viewed on five exhibition levels.
