A whale calf and a green turtle, born near Reunion Island, are preparing for an exceptional journey. Under his mother's protection, the calf sets off on a long journey of 6,000 km to Antarctica. The turtle heads for Europa, its native island in the Indian Ocean, to lay around a hundred eggs. Along the way, they come across humans committed to their protection.
