Just 2km from the medieval village of Tallard, the airfield has grown steadily since 1937, with over 80,000 annual air movements. It is recognized as Europe's No. 1 center for aerial leisure activities.

Internationally renowned, the airfield welcomes numerous users. It is also an exceptional venue for regional, national and international events: Coupe de France, world parachuting championships, precision landings, relative flights, contact flights, Vol à Voile gatherings, European gas balloon races, etc.
